Crane Adorable Humidifiers

Typically, cool mist humidifiers are nice to have, but not so nice to look at. But, thanks to Crane, you don’t have to live with a boxy and basic humidifier ever again. Now, you can dress up your kid’s bedroom or play space with 10 different styles of their Adorable Humidifiers.

Frogs, penguins and dragons are just a sampling. Or, if you want something that’s trademarked, you can go with a Thomas the Tank Engine, Hello Kitty or Sponge Bob model. Regardless of the one you pick, you don’t have to spend a hefty amount of money (prices range from $35 to $46) to get a cute humidifier for your child’s space.

Oh, and by the way – the machine really pumps out some great humid mist! A few aspects of the design that we really like are the size of the reservoir, the adjustable control and the sound. The size is not huge, but that works for me for a couple of reasons: first, you don’t have a heavy reservoir to lug from the sink to the room; and second, the water is fresher and gets turned over more often. There’s a very simple control that can be adjusted depending on how much mist you want to pump out – something that you don’t get on many other humidifiers in the same price range. And, a final design gem is that the machine is almost silent when it runs. The minimal noise makes for a soothing “white noise” in the bedroom.

Overall, this is an example of funky form that leads to awesome function. We love our frog, and plan on purchasing an additional panda for our daughter’s playroom— as well as a penguin for our own bedroom. Afterall, why should the kids have all the fun – and the humidity?

This Weeks Tip

Don’t let a shaving accident ruin your perfectly-planned, light-colored “Hot Mama” outfit. A blood stain can be removed without a trip through the washing machine. Rinse the spot in cold water, then dab with hydrogen peroxide. The stain will disappear instantly… and a hair dryer can take care of the residual wetness.
