Who needs a calendar when I have a 3 year old? It’s late in the winter season, and in New England that means we could possibly get snow until late May. So, when it comes to clothing your child, you need to A. pay close attention to the weather report and B. don’t put the winter clothing into storage until July 4th. The only problem is that Spicy Girl is having her usual “end of season growth spurt”, and now (...Read More)
Milestones/Confessions

Last weekend I gave away our glider/rocker and our changing table. A big bag of baby clothes went to the Goodwill. Seeing my young, pregnant friend and her husband smile happily at the chair and table almost entirely obliterated the sadness I felt at letting these things go. Almost. I’ll never have another baby. It’s not that I want another baby, in the active, let’s-put-on-some-Marvin-Gaye-and-give-it-a-try kind of way. We have two great kids, one more than I thought we would (...Read More)
